PROOV

Terms of Use

Last updated 11 October 2026

Using PROOV means agreeing to what is below. It is short because the app is short: you pick a challenge, you do it, you prove it.

PROOV is not medical advice. Challenges are written by other users, not by doctors, and nobody checks them. Talk to a qualified professional before starting any new physical activity, and stop if something hurts. You are responsible for deciding whether a challenge is safe for you. This is the most important paragraph on the page.

The agreement

These terms are between you and the makers of PROOV. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not, do not use PROOV.

Your account

What you post

PROOV has a shared feed and challenge boards. When you complete a day, the board shows that you did — your name and the day number. Notes and photos are always your choice. You can also like a post and comment on one.

You keep ownership of everything you post. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people it is meant for — the challenge you posted it to — for as long as you keep it up. That permission ends when you delete the post or your account. The same goes for a comment.

Featuring your posts

PROOV never uses your posts to promote itself unless you say so, post by post.

What is not allowed

This applies to posts, comments, photos, your display name and handle, and any challenge you write.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Break the rules above and the content comes down and the account can go with it.

Reporting, blocking and moderation

Every post and every comment can be reported, and any account can be blocked. Blocking works in both directions: you stop seeing them and they stop seeing you — their posts, their comments and their likes all disappear from your view, and yours from theirs.

When two different people report the same post, it is hidden automatically while we look at it — it does not wait for anyone to wake up. We aim to review reported content within 24 hours. We may remove content or suspend an account without notice when the rules above are broken, and we will tell you why if you ask.

Notifications

Notifications are off until you turn them on, and we ask the phone for permission at that moment and not before. What we will send you, and nothing else:

Two switches turn those off independently, and turning them off deletes the delivery token for that device rather than merely filtering at our end.

If you create a challenge

Anyone can write a challenge. If you do:

Money

Nothing in PROOV costs anything right now. Every challenge is free, there is no subscription, and nothing in the app can be purchased. If that changes, the terms will change first and you will be told before anything is ever charged.

What we do not promise

PROOV is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that it will be free of bugs, that a notification will arrive, or that using it will produce any particular result. Challenge content comes from other users and we do not verify it.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for injury arising from physical activity you chose to do, or for anything another user posts. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. The section above about what happens to your data on deletion is in the Privacy Policy, and it applies either way.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app rather than relying on you noticing the date at the top.
